Police appeal following Baughurst burglary

Police are appealing for information after an intruder's image was captured on a CCTV camera, during a Baughurst burglary at a development site.

The burglary happened on Tuesday, October 11, after three people gained entry to the Bewley Homes site, in Brimpton Road between midnight and 3.30am, according to Hampshire Constabulary.

They entered a storage unit at the rear of the site, but left empty handed.

Pc Colin Jackson from Basingstoke Police Station said:

“Anyone with information about this incident should call 101 quoting 44160383810.

We would like to speak to the person pictured in connection with the incident - you may recognise them from their clothing.

“Residents should be vigilant at all times in rural areas and call us if they see any suspicious vehicles, people or activities.”
