Police appeal for information following suspicious incident in Baughurst

A man has been charged with causing the death of a woman on the A34 near Chieveley. 

Dariusz Tokarczyk was charged yesterday (Thursday) in connection with a collision on March 22, 2016.

The collision involved an articulated lorry and a Vauxhall Corsa.

The 21-year-old female driver of the Corsa, who was from Wiltshire, died.

Mr Tokarczyk, aged 47, of Kennion Road, Harrogate, North Yorkshire has been charged with one count of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been released on police bail and is expected to appear at Reading Crown Court on January 19, 2017.
