Chimney Fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire alarm at Speenhamland Primary School in Newbury this morning (Tuesday).

Three pumps, including one from Newbury and two from Reading were called at 8am to the school, in Pelican Lane, after a smell of burning was reported.

No-one was hurt.

No fire was identified by the fire crews and the incident was closed.
