A FASHION time warp bringing back the best of shell suits, flares and shoulder pads to the current day will found at Outfit in Newbury Retail Park from today (Thursday) until Saturday (17) as part of a fashion flashback fundraising event.  It marks the announcement of the store’s new charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust. The Newbury Outfit store is one of 65 taking part across the country in the event, which will see staff strutting their stuff in-store, wearing past fashion triumphs and disasters. Customers are also encouraged to take part by uploading pictures of their own fashion faux pas on Twitter and Facebook using #fashback and @outfitfashionuk. Everyone who uploads a photo will have the chance to win daily prizes and a £250 shopping spree at Outfit. Fashion Flashback is the first official fundraising event by Outfit for Teenage Cancer Trust. Nationally, the fashion chain hopes to raise £500,000 - enough to fund 20,000 of specialist nursing care for young people with cancer - for the charity in the next 18 months.
