AN UPPER Bucklebury road was reopened this evening (Wed) after a car fire yesterday, and road damage.  Harts Hill Road was reopened at 5pm, according to West Berkshire Council (WBC), following a 24 hour closure for repairs to be made to the road surface. Two cars were involved in the incident, shortly after 5pm yesterday (Tues), with emergency services including fire engines, police and paramedics at the scene. South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) confirm a man thought to be in his late teens received hip and shoulder injuries and a woman thought to be in her 60's received possible chest injuries and were taken by ambulance to the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. A third person received minor injuries. Thames Valley Police (TVP) confirm there were no arrests.
