Brewing up for bikers

A NEW café for motorcyclists and car lovers roared into life recently.

Brightwell’s Café, which is situated within the car park at the Holiday Inn at Padworth, is open to enthusiasts between 10am and 2pm on Sundays.

The idea for the café came from Steph Awbery who thanked everyone who attended the first custom and bike meet earlier this month.

She said: “There was a good turnout for the first meeting, it can only get bigger and better from here on.

“In time this venue will get bigger, just like the old Max Café did.”

The café is also raising funds for the charity Child Lung Foundation, which will also be at the Berkshire Motor Show on July 5, at Prospect Park, in  Reading.

More information about the café can be found on the Brightwell’s Café Facebook page.
