Police arrest two men in Tilehurst on suspicion of theft

TWO 18-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of theft offences in Tilehurst this morning (Friday).

Thames Valley Police arrested the two men at about 3.15am in Long Lane, following calls from the public that two offenders were acting suspiciously in the area.

The first man was arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft and theft from a motor vehicle, while the second man was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.

The men, both of no fixed abode are still in custody at this time.
