Paramedics called to Greggs in Northbrook Street

Emergency services attend scene after customer taken ill

PARAMEDICS were called to an incident in Newbury's Northbrook Street after a customer was taken ill at Greggs this morning.


It is thought that the man suffered a seizure whilst in the bakers with staff immediately calling the emergency services.


Ambulance staff treated the patient at the scene before transporting him to North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke.
