IF any further proof were needed that Hungerford loves to party, it was there in spades on the streets on Friday night.

The annual Victorian Extravaganza regularly attracts up to 12,000 visitors to the town and this year was no exception.

The amazing night was augmented by a Christmas market and upstairs jazz bar for the first time.

Both proved a huge hit.

We sent our workhouse wretches to cover it - so pick up a copy of next Thursday's Newbury Weekly News for a full report plus loads of pictures of the fun.
