Construction workshops for young people

YOUNG people in West Berkshire can get a hands-on insight into the construction industry at two workshops.

The Education Business Partnership is running two events to showcase the varied jobs available in construction and current apprenticeship vacancies for young people.

They can have a go at bricklaying, plumbing or carpentry at Sainsbury’s Calcot on Saturday and Hungerford High Street on Friday, April 22, between 10am and 4.30pm.

Financial help with transport is available, along with some free food and drink.
