POLICE are appealing for information after a burglary in Newbury on Thursday (April 28).

Thieves entered a property on Dolman Road between 3pm and 10.15pm and stole safes containing money, phone and car keys.

Thames Valley Police would like to speak to anyone who has any information about the incident and in particular the driver of a silver Peugeot 207 car which was seen in the location around the time of the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident should call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers (opens new window) anonymously on 0800 555 111.
