M4 delays following collision near Chieveley

THERE were delays on the M4 near Chieveley earlier today following a two-vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway.

Emergency services were called to the scene between junction 12 and 13 just after 12.30pm.

Two lanes were closed while debris was cleared.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called at 12.38pm today following reports of a collision on the M4 east bound between junctions 13 and 12 involving two vehicles.

"No one has been injured in the incident. Two lanes have been closed while officers work to clear the road."
