Tadley desperate for action

TADLEY CALLEVA manager Danny Dolan was left ruing yet another posptonement as his side was left sitting it out for another week.

The midweek game at Hythe and Dibden was abandoned after 58 minutes, slightly under the time when Hythe’s previous home game came to a premature halt.

“The referee said it was playable and there’s no way it was. It was a disgrace.

“At half-time he said he’s give it 10 minutes and I thought ‘here we go’ and 10 minutes later he walked over and I just walked off.

“No way was it ever playable. It was an absolute disgrace.”

Tadley are now hoping that Saturday’s game at lowly Andover New Street will go ahead as Tadley continue to trail on games follong the postponements and their lengthy FA Vase run earlier in the season.

They will be without Scott Kinge and Ashley Ledger, and midfielder Callum Bush is a doubt after he was injured at Hythe. Andrew Charsley returns to the squad.
