Terror Tennent takes Tadley to a top ten

Tadley Calleva 9 Pewsey Vale 0

JAMES Tennant struck a stunning five-goal haul as Tadley mauled lowly Vale to defeat at Barlows Park in the Sydenhams Wessex League’s first division.

The goals were split in each half as Tennant netted a first half hat-trick with Scott Kinge and Sam Hamilton making it 5-0 at the interval.

And more followed after the break with Tennant striking twice and Kinge and Hamiton adding to their tallies, and Tadley’s could have been even greater with Brett Denham missing a couple of good openings and others going astray.

The goals flowed so fast, that even our reporter miscounted!

Tadley now face Andover New Street at Barlows Park on Tuesday night as they continue their bid to snatch a promotion spot.
