Tadley stay on charge

Sam Hamilton - two midweek goals

TADLEY CALLEVA are still giving chase to an Amesbury Town side holding second place in the Sydenhams Wessex League’s Division One and have two more home games coming up in which they close in.

They entertain East Cowes Vics on Saturday and then have Ringwood Town as visitors to Barlows Park on Tuesday evening as Tadley bid to maintain their scoring streak that saw them pot 13 goals last week, four in a midweek win over Andover New Street in which Grant Powell and Sam Hamilton each netted twice.

Tadley are also in cup action tonight (Thursday) when they entertain Evo Stik League Fleet Town in the North Hants Senior Cup.

Thatcham Town drew 1-1 at Bracknell Town in midweek, but have no Saturday game and now wrap up their Hellenic League programme with a trip to Brimscombe and Thrupp on Monay night.
