Tadley have a handful of targets

TADLEY CALLEVA are aiming to win five out of five in a bid to snatch runners-up spot to Portland United in the Sydenhams Wessex League’s Division One.

Tadley trail current seocnd-lace holders Amesbury Town by 11 points but have two games in hand, and Amesbury must yet play the champions-elect and Tadley themselves before the season ends on May 7.

“I’m upbeat and we’re still in the race,” said Tadley manager Danny Dolan. “There are plenty of games to be won and lost and we’ve still got a chance.

“But we’ve got to win all of our games,” he added, “lose one, and we’r e out of it.”

Tadley have a busy week ahead, which sees them entertain Ringwood Town on Saturday and Totton and Eling on Tuesday before heading to Hythe and Dibden next Thursday night.
