Town make another early exit

Thatcham Town 2 Brscknell Town 3

THATCHAM again made s disappointingly early exit from the FA Cup after bowing out to their Berkshire and Hellenic League rivals in Saturday’s Extra Preliminary Round.

Thatcham twice took the lead with Jordan Seward giving them a first half advantage and Shane Cooper’ Clark making it 2-1 from the spot after Khalid Senussi had levelled the scores in the second half.

But two goals in the final 10 minutes sent Thatcham crashing out when Kennie Chamberlain coasting through the home defence to make it 2-2 and Adam Cornell curling home the late winner.
