Walker runs in a treble

Mike Walker - hat-trick of tries

Newbury Blues 47 Windsor 25

MIKE Walker’s hat-trick of tries helped Blues into second spot behind Berkshire rivals Maidenhead in South West One East - and provided a fourth straight bonus point game.

Walker struck twice in the first 40 minutes as Blues established a comfortable 28-5 lad and only a late rally from the visitors produced a tighter scoreline.

Toby Thorne also touched down twice with Ollie Spanswick and Rory Jones also scoring and Dan Thorne adding six conversions.
