Town hit back to keep riding high

James Tennant - netted Town's leveller

Thatcham Town 3 Highworth Town 2

TOWN had to come back from two goals down before maintaining their top spot in the Premier Division of the Hellenic League.

They trailed to an Ashley Edenborough goal after only six minutes, and the much-travelled striker added a second 10 minutes later.

Thatcham had to wait until deep into the second half before pulling one back through Josh Helmore, and it was only in the closing minutes that they snatched the points when James Tennant got them back on terms before Helmore potted the winner with his seventh goal in four games.
