BOUNDARY Road closed on Monday and motorists are already feeling the impact. 

We've already had reports that it's taking some people more than 40 minutes to travel from Pinchington Lane to the Burger King roundabout. 

Network Rail said it needed to shut the road to divert utility services ahead of the railway bridge being replaced.

The bridge will close again at a later date, for a time which has not yet been determined, to allow for the replacement of the bridge ahead of electrification.

A signed diversion is in place for vehicles during the three-month period.
