Athena Network branches celebrate Christmas together

Women's networking groups meet for lunch

Busy women from the Athena Network took time out to celebrate Christmas as one cohesive group at Audley Inglewood last week.

Businesswomen from all four West Berkshire groups met for lunch plus a poetry recital from local writer Toni Kent and a demonstration on how to make a simple festive table decoration from florist Woolley Cameron.

More than 30 women attended and enjoyed informal networking plus a West Berkshire-themed quiz.

Debbie Miles, regional director of The Athena Network for West Berkshire, said: “We had a lovely afternoon of ‘flowers, fizz and sparkle’ celebrating Christmas while networking to get to know each other even better.

“I’d like to wish everyone a happy Christmas and prosperous 2017.

“Here’s to more inspiration, support and successful businesses next year.”
