GradWeb invests in heart of Newbury
Growing recruitment company moves to larger offices
One of the UK’s leading recruitment services companies has moved to larger offices in the town centre to support its ambitious growth plans.
GradWeb’s relocation comes on the back of consecutive year-on-year growth for this progressive local business that packs a global punch.
"Having always been a locally-based business, it’s fantastic to continue our strong association with Newbury by moving to a larger office in the town centre,” said Cynthia Bostock, chief executive of GradWeb.
“Newbury House enables us to build on the success we have achieved by increasing our capabilities and expanding our core team to support our clients as we continue to grow.”
Founded 15 years ago, GradWeb provides recruitment services to some of the world’s biggest and best-known brands including Sony, Mercedes, Barclays, BP, Ford, GSK and Unilever – all managed from its local base in Newbury.
In recognition of the innovative, high-quality and often global solutions GradWeb has delivered for its diverse client base, the business has won nine awards in the past three years.
“Our ethos at GradWeb is that we put what’s right for our clients and for their candidates first,” said Cynthia.
“This is how we develop our partnerships; by focusing on long-term relationships and delivering an outstanding level of service for all our clients.”
As a women business enterprise (of the four shareholders, three are women), GradWeb is committed to workplace diversity and understands that its culture and people are incredibly important to drive the growth it needs.
“We have a strong and positive culture, where everyone is valued for their ability and for the diversity of their knowledge, experience and background,” said Cynthia.
"It is important to us that our progress has a positive impact on our colleagues, our environment and our community.”
GradWeb’s move to a larger office is also good news for the Newbury economy, since it will be looking to invest in local talent to meet its ambitious growth plans and add to its 65-strong team.
