'Independents Day' Christmas fair supports Newbury creative businesses

Why not stop by independent café Mrs Bs Kitchen, at the end of Faraday Road, today (Friday, December 3) - she has invited four local working artist/makers to sell their art and crafts between 10am and 3pm.

Enjoy a delicious hot drink and homemade cake while perusing the beautiful hand decorated and thrown cups, bowls and plates of potter by Ursula Waechter, artist Amanda Bates is showing her intricately detailed pen and ink drawings of local trees, and her handmade sketchbooks, alongside her, maker Sarah Jane Gordon will be selling her unique sea-inspired hand-printed cards, Christmas decorations and artwork, GoMa Apparel will be bringing their funky unisex T-shirt designs inspired and printed during Lockdown in addition to hand made masks, scarves and bags.

Today will be an opportunity to find unique Christmas gifts and support local businesses.
