Berkshire Balloon Fiesta & Action Extravaganza comes to Newbury this summer

Newbury Showground will be filled with colourful balloons, alongside family entertainment, this July.

The First Berkshire Balloon Fiesta & Action Extravaganza is to be held at Newbury Showground on Saturday, July 23.

The show runs from 11am to 10.30pm and organisers promise a day of 'hot air balloons, death defying demonstrations, adrenaline fuelled stunts and a full action extravaganza'.

Weather permitting, there will be a morning and evening balloon fly-out as well as a Balloon Night Glow and fireworks display.

Entertainment includes a helicopter parachute display team, an international stunt team and a superhero Vander stunt wheel.

There will also be a falconry display team.

Visitors can also join in the circus workshop, helicopter rides and Parkour display and 'Have a go'.

Children will enjoy the bounce fest village and fairground and there will also be a food and drink village plus trade stalls.
