LEARN MOREHusband and wife team Berkshire Printmakers will be running two silk screen printing workshops in the Lookout Studio at The Base, Newbury. The sessions will be inspired by the Eduardo Paolozzi exhibition General Dynamic F.U.N. which runs until July 24 at the Greenham Common venue.
The three-hour workshop for adults 'Explore Printmaking through the art of Paolozzi' on Wednesday will involve the participants work with Berkshire Printmakers to create a silkscreen print on paper galvanized by Paolozzi’s use of colour and pop art images which run through the exhibition.
Screen print an exhibition tote bag is aimed at children seven years old and above. It takes place on Saturday, July 2. Taking themes from the 50-plus prints in the Paolozzi exhibition, the young students will create their own unique print designs for a cotton tote bag of the show, which they then get to take home at the end of the session. All children must be accompanied by an adult during this fun, creative workshop.
