Broadcasters Jonathan Dimbleby and Zeinab Badawi among packed Marlborough LitFest programme on sale today
Marlborough Literature Festival always offers a host of interesting writers, something different from the mainstream, and there’s more this year in the full programme that has just been launched for its 15th year.
The jam-packed four-day litfest just down the A4 runs from September 26 to 29.
With more than 40 events spanning a wealth of topics, this bumper programme has something to tempt all ages with a line-up that includes 2024 Golding Speaker Linda Grant, broadcaster and Second World War historian Jonathan Dimbleby, bestselling novelists Felix Francis, Ben Kane and AJ Finn, AI expert Nigel Toon and tree expert Tristan Gooley.
This is in addition to a fleet of major names already announced, among them the festival patron Sir Simon Russell Beale - widely acknowledged as the greatest stage actor of his generation with two BAFTA s, three Oliviers and a Tony under his belt - along with television and radio journalist Zeinab Badawi, historian and broadcaster William Dalrymple and children’s author and illustrator duo Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre.
Priority booking opens today (Monday, July 1) and general booking on July 11.
