The NS-18 mission was originally scheduled to fly on Tuesday, but Blue Origin decided on Sunday to delay the launch due to forecasted high winds.

Captain James T Kirk, commander of the USS Enterprise, is about to blast off into space and you can watch it live.

Actor William Shatner is about to make history as the oldest person to go into space. The actor is joined by Audrey Powers, Blue Origin's Vice President of Mission and Flight Operations and crew members Chris Boshuizen and Glen de Vries.

The flight will lift off from Launch Site One in West Texas.

The mission was delayed for 24-hours following weather concerns, but the actor and his fellow travellers are ready to take off.
