Illness forces another cancellation of Watermill's Whistle Down the Wind tonight

Cast illness has forced The Watermill theatre to cancel tonight's performance (Monday) of Whistle Down the Wind.

This follows the cancellation of Saturday afternoon's matinee performance, owing to illness within the company. However, the Saturday evening performance went ahead with an understudy.

All audience members have been contacted and the box office is arranging rebooking for an alternative performance.

Whistle Down the Wind, an actor/musician revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman’s 1996 rock musical, runs at the Bagnor theatre until September. The production has been garnering considerable praise - with a 5-star review in the Observer.

The theatre has apologised to ticket holders and said the box office would be in touch with the audience as soon as possible.
