The inspirational smokey voiced chanteuse has powered her way to the forefront of the British Americana and Roots scenes in recent years, has released her fourth studio album Beneath the Neon Glow, the first under the Cooking Vinyl label and is on her largest UK tour to date.

She plays the Snelsmore venue on Saturday (7.30pm).

Beneath The Neon Glow has had glowing reviews across the board and hit number #12 in the Official Album Charts, #1 in the UK Official Blues Charts, #2 in the UK Official Americana Charts, & #3 in the UK Official Independent Charts. All of this is on the back of Elles picking up Live Act of the Year for the second year running at the UK Americana Awards, and Vocalist of the Year for the second year running at the UK Blues Awards.

Through lyrically vulnerable and brutally honest songwriting, this new album delves into the depths of heartbreak, the resilience of friendship, and the enduring power of love that spans a lifetime. With beautifully uplifting melodies and first class instrumentation from her incredible live band, this record captures the essence of all the shades of love that have shaped Bailey's life and she fearlessly navigates through the spectrum of human emotion, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into her journey.

Although heralded in the Blues, Americana and Rock communities in the UK and further afield, Elles describes herself as a genre blending artist who doesn’t want to be put in just one box. This album sees her effortlessly weaves through roots, rock and soul inspired americana with first class songwriting and excellent musicianship. Mojo predicts that Elles’ ‘Rise and Rise is inevitable’.

Elles is a committed live performer, playing up and down the UK and Europe and into the US.

She has opened for the likes of Jools Holland, Van Morrison and Walter Trout. She has shared the stage with Joe Bonamassa, Beth Hart and Bonnie Raitt and has played slots at Glastonbury, Notodden, Beautiful Days and Kew the Music.

Since 2022 she has been a weekly presenter on Planet Rock, the UK’s biggest National Rock station and you can hear her show every Saturday at midday. Elles is “incredibly passionate” about supporting women in music and she also uses her platform to support up and coming artists.
