Artists work raises spirits as well as funds at Reading's Royal Berks Hospital

If you have recently visited the Royal Berkshire Hospital, you may have noticed the paintings and prints on display. Reading Guild of Artists are currently showing their work at the RBH in a Charity Art Exhibition.

Until August 27, visitors and staff at the hospital can enjoy a varied selection of art works displayed along the second floor link corridor. With the opportunity to own original art comes also the chance to support the NHS through the hospital charity. Members of the Guild are not only keen to share their artistic vision but are also happy to support the RBH by donating 25 per cent of sales of their work to the charity.

Most people wouldn’t necessarily chose to walk along the corridors of their local hospital, but the RGA’s exhibition secretary Trish Roberts knows that beautiful art works displayed well will lift the spirits of those visitors, as well as NHS staff, who find themselves at the RBH.
