If you enjoyed our lacemaking exhibition why not join our group say Newbury Bobtails
Local lacemakers group Newbury Bobtails’ recently held a very well-received exhibition of lace at Newbury library.
The display of lace attracted many positive and appreciative comments, and the ‘have-a-go’ pillows were extremely popular.
Children and adults of all ages, and certainly from 9 to 90, were able to try making some lace, some even taking the little bookmark they made home with them.
Newbury Bobtails meet at St Mary’s Church, Greenham.
“We are a friendly group and welcome both beginner and experienced lacemakers, said lacemaker Sally Wade.
“If you would like to give lacemaking a try, or if you have already discovered the joy of our craft, please email secretary@newburybobtails.org for further details.”
