How to spot a psychopath

Following a sold-out tour last year, renowned journalist, filmmaker and author Jon Ronson has announced a UK tour 2025, where he will delve into the minds of psychopaths.

Building on the success of his best-selling book The Psychopath Test, the show returns to the subject that Ronson originally explored 16 years ago in his ground-breaking work. The book spent over a year on the UK bestseller chart.

This unique tour, which includes a Reading date, will feature new insights, gripping narratives, alongside mystery special guests.

Taking this to the stage with a fresh look in 2025, he will reopen the case with exclusive anecdotes and fresh reflections (that may or may not be pertinent with recent world events), bringing audiences along on a thrilling exploration of madness and the elusive psychopathic mind.

This is an electrifying journey into the enigmatic world of psychopaths and the perplexing concept of normalcy. In an age where society’s rationality is called into question, Jon will deliver evenings of incisive inquiry, seasoned with his trademark wit and profound insights.

An unmissable and hugely timely show, expect mystery special guests whose extraordinary, twist-filled true tales are central to the story but not found in the original edition of the book, as well as a chance for audiences to ask Jon their own questions.

Jon says: "I’m delighted to be heading back on the road for Psychopath Night 2025. Last year’s shows were much loved - not least because of my amazing mystery guests, whose stories twist and turn in ways you’d never expect.

We're living in increasingly psychopathic times. The corridors of political and business power are replete with those traits, and they’re being widely encouraged on social media too. How startling to be living in a world that rewards the worst mental disorder of all - with its grandiosity, lack of empathy, pathological lying...

As society grows ever more psychopathic, my show will teach you how to spot a psychopath, and make you question whether becoming a psychopath hunter can turn you a little psychopathic too..."

Jon Ronson’s Psychopath Night 2025 UK tour will run through November, with tickets on-sale now from Fane.co.uk/Jon-Ronson.
