Edinburgh Fringe award winner Baby Dinosaur plays Hungerford Comedy Club

An Edinburgh Fringe Award winning comedian is coming to Hungerford next month with a show that requires active input from the audience.

Baby Dinosaur – Winner of the Most Fun Show at Edinburgh Fringe in 2023 – plays Hungerford Comedy Club on Friday, July 19.

The show is devised and performed by multi-award winning actor/comedian Dave Bibby.

Described as a '"madcap musical-character-sketch comedy pioneer" (BroadwayWorld), Dave set out to create a theatrical masterpiece: A one-man Jurassic Park. But then he had a baby and well... he’s been a bit tired tbqhwy. But creation is an act of sheer will.

Bibby aims to improve on a Hollywood Blockbuster by reshaping the classic movie while the audience recreate sound effects, killer lines and even portray some legendary characters/ dinosaurs onstage.

This (no pressure!) interactive comedy won the prestigious Amused Moose Comedy Award for Most Fun Show Edinburgh Fringe 2023 and was described as ‘Cult status' by Broadway Baby .

The night’s MC at The Croft Hall will be Graeme Coulam. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Hungerford Comedy Club is the town's very own comedy venue, featuring professional acts from the Comedy Circuit in London and the South. Every two months, they host a line up of established and newer comedy talent, including acts that have graced the stage of bigger venues like the world famous Comedy Store and have TV and radio credits to their names.
