Both The Hungerford Bookshop and Hugo’s Gourmet Pasta are known for hosting great events and next month they are serving up a new partnership.

They are joining forces to bring an amazing evening of uplifting fiction and delicious food on Tuesday, June 17.

Bestselling authors - and good friends - Harriet Evans and Veronica Henry will be in conversation talking about their latest books while you enjoy a glass of prosecco and nibbles.

After the talk the authors will join readers at their tables for more chatting and a two course meal.

All of this is included, along with signed copies of each of the authors new books, The Treasures and One Night at the Chateau, in one £65 ticket price.

Harriet Evans is the author of 14 bestselling books that have sold over a million copies. Her new novel, The Treasures, is the first is a trilogy following three generations of the Raven family, of their beginning and their ending, and of finding the treasures that symbolise the most important memories in our lives.

Hugo’s Gourmet Pasta at 34 Market Place, Newbury makes all of their pasta fresh on site. Their dishes are inspired by both classic Italian and Italian-South American recipes, as millions of Italians immigrated to South America in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, so you can expect some recipes that have evolved a bit differently alongside the classics.
