Films for £5 among Easter offerings at Newbury Corn Exchange
If you want to keep the whole family entertained this Easter holiday, look no further than our town centre Corn Exchange and The Base, Greenham.
The venue is running a fortnight of £5 Films in its cinema (from this Friday to Thursday, April 21), where audiences can rediscover the joy of going to the cinema for just a fiver - a great way to introduce children to the cinema and see the smash-hit Sing 2 on the big screen or for older viewers to see award-winning films such as Belfast and West Side Story.
On stage next week, audiences (from age three) will meet a host of impressive creatures - including a Tyrannosaurus Rex - when Dinosaur World Live is coming for an interactive, mind-expanding Jurassic adventure in six fun-filled performances from Tuesday to Thursday.
The Corn Exchange Infant and Junior Youth Theatre will be performing a stage adaptation of the classic Charlotte’s Web - the poignant, humorous story of a pig, a spider and a little girl - from Friday, April 22 to Sunday 24, a good way to round-off the Easter holidays and celebrate the young talent in Newbury.
The venue is also running a fortnight of £5 Films in its cinema (from this Friday to Thursday, April 21), where audiences can rediscover the joy of going to the cinema for just a fiver - a great way to introduce children to the cinema and see the smash-hit Sing 2 on the big screen or for older viewers to see award-winning films such as Belfast and West Side Story.

Throughout the 10-day festival, local artists will be exhibiting in the Gallery, and visitors can get creative on a gigantic chalkboard doodle wall. An Easter printing workshop on Sunday (April 10) gives children the opportunity to explore their creativity and get into the festive spirit and visitors can have a go at the range of workshops from The Base’s programme of workshops and courses. Free entry to the fairs and free onsite parking.
