Call for local artists to show in Newbury gallery

Framemakers re-opened their Newbury Gallery in Northbrook Street recently and following on from several previous successful events have decided to run another Local Artist Exhibition for one week from Saturday, September 24.

They'd like to showcase local artists' work, giving them a platform to sell to the public.

This will be a free to enter exhibition for all involved.

Louise Thatcher from Framemakers Galleries said: "We are asking entrants to fill in an entry form and submit a maximum of three pictures by August 22. All entry forms and terms and conditions can be requested by contacting our Newbury Gallery at 59 Northbrook Street on (01635) 569049. All information is available with the entry form.

"We are hoping to make this exhibition a bit larger than previously held to support the local artists, who have supported us during our time in Newbury.
