It's not all Pete Tong - Katherine Jenkins sunset performance celebrates Henley Festival's 40th

HENLEY Festival has just revealed an anniversary celebration evening featuring Katherine Jenkins accompanied by orchestra and Jack Savoretti.

The festival, which will run from July 6 to 10, will conclude with a magical evening celebrating the Festival’s 40th Anniversary.

Welsh superstar mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins – the biggest selling classical artist of the century with 14 number one albums – will take to Henley Festival’s iconic Floating Stage on the Sunday. The 'national treasure' will be accompanied by orchestra for a sunset performance of her classical repertoire set against the beautiful backdrop of the river Thames.

Five spectacular summer nights, celebrating 40 years of world-class music, comedy, art, dancing, gastronomy, fireworks and magical moments, will be brought to an unforgettable close by the sensational singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti. Hot off the heels of his second #1 album Europiana – featuring the funky first single ‘Who’s Hurting Who’ – Savoretti will be bringing Riviera glamour and Italian elegance to the Floating Stage, before a firework spectacular marks the end of this year’s revelry.

A truly unique event, the boutique black-tie festival returns to Henley-on-Thames’ stunning riverside from Wednesday to Sunday, for what is to be its biggest year ever. Katherine Jenkins and Jack Savoretti join the Henley Festival 2022 headliners announced earlier this week: The Script, Boney M, Craig David, Sir Tom Jones and Pete Tong Ibiza Classics with the Heritage Orchestra and Jules Buckley.
