From Ferocious Dogs to Pop Divas - great gigs coming up at Newbury's Arlington Arts
Highlights of Arlington Arts programme for January to June include Noise Next Door, Hugh Cornwell, Chris McCausland, Kyla Brox and Don Juan In Soho.
Fresh from celebrating its 15th anniversary, the Snelsmore arts centre, based at Mary Hare School, is cementing its reputation for bringing the best in live music to Newbury, kicking off on Friday with Fleetwood Bac - "the world’s first and best Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band, endorsed by Mick Fleetwood himself, the only Mac tribute to authentically replicate the classic ‘Rumours’ line-up".
Former Stranglers member Hugh Cornwell has a gig on Thursday, April 7, celtic-folk-punk band Ferocious Dog on Saturday, April 23, and blues rock breakthrough duo When Rivers Meet on Saturday, April 30.
Comedy fans have the returning and rescheduled Lucy Porter: Be Prepared on Saturday, February 26, to get excited about and Chris McCausland on May 8.
Noise Next Door also bring their unique brand of off-the-cuff comedy on Saturday, February 12.
February half-term will see a creative celebration of a classic with Oldilocks and the Three Bears (Wednesday, February 23) and the return of Pop Divas Live! (Thursday, February 24), the perfect first concert for the little divas in your life.
Theatre-lovers have three nights to choose from when Apple Bee Theatre Company present their production of Don Juan In Soho (Thursday, May 12, Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14 ).
