ANOTHER night, another great jam-packed show at Arlington Arts.

Tonight it was the turn of Live/Wire AC/DC Show to wow a capacity, part-standing, part-seated audience with some great rock music. There were horned rock salutes, fist pumping and light-up flashing devil horns from the word go and a two-hour-10-minutes single (no interval) high energy, high power, high volume gig which took no prisoners.

The six canons on stage gave notice that Live/Wire meant business, though the fans would have to wait until the encore for For Those About To Rock (We Salute You).

A superb set-list, which included tracks like Riff-Raff, Hells Bells, You Shook Me All Night Long, Sin City, TNT, Whole Lotta Rosie, Highway To Hell and much, much more, Live/Wire had Arlington stompin’.

Podge Blacksmith, as Brian Johnson has the vocal range and power needed, as well as the ability to lift Simon Davies, as Angus Young, on to his shoulders for a victory lap of the auditorium, still playing.

Simon is truly unstoppable, a perpetual motion machine and a masterful guitarist, he even has the required AC/DC underwear to moon the audience.

The rest of the band, Dan Mosley on rhythm guitar, Eddie Clark on bass and Paul Alwain on drums provide a solid, tight wall of rock.

The band loves playing Arlington Arts and that love is clearly reciprocated. Live/Wire change-up their setlists to maintain interest and surprise regular fans, they are fans themselves and this fact drives what they do. It is not just about covering songs, it is about putting on a full-throttle show that takes audiences by storm.

AC/DC have sold over 200 million records worldwide and Live/Wire pay fitting tribute to both the music and the atmosphere of the band. I can safely say that nobody left disappointed tonight.

As for myself, I've seen them before and I'd see them again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic.
