Hungerford’s Hop Hog was hot!
THE Plume at Hungerford’s third Hop Hog music festival took place with huge success over the weekend.
Fine weather saw the gardens full of music lovers relaxing in the sun at the garden arena or packing the indoor stage to enjoy some of the best of local talent, ranging from bluegrass to alternative rock via jazz fusion, solo folk and country and western, all accompanied by the ever delicious Plume food and that tasty hopping hog.
Bands from London, Sheffield and the south coast also joined the event, which was again curated by Dylan and Louie Morris of up and coming local rockers The Station, who themselves performed a storming set on the Saturday night to a packed and enthusiastic pub.
Louie said: “A similar event is already planned for next year, with even more great new music for West Berkshire to enjoy.”
