Am Drams pick up awards for panto
Congratulations are due to amateur dramatic group Kingsclere Players.
At this year’s recent NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) south east awards ceremony. Kingsclere Players won two awards for their 2024 pantomime Babes in the Wood and Robin Hood.
The awards were Accolade of Excellence Pantomime 2024 and Highly Commended Best Pantomime in the South East Region 2024.
Chairman Keith Bennett said: “ I am extremely proud of the efforts of all the members within the group, but especially Jo Batson who wrote and directed the pantomime.

Since 2007 Joe, who now lives locally, has been involved in a variety of exciting projects, including numerous shows at The National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe and West End productions such as Les Misérables & Tina The Musical.
Joe will lead an exciting and fun workshop at the Fieldgate Centre that will help elevate your skills and boost your confidence on stage. You will explore various techniques to improve clarity, projection and range and engage in interactive games that will bring out your inner character or the character you are playing. Open to all from ages 9 to 99.
