Live screenings of Jodie Comer’s brilliant West End debut in Prima Facie at a theatre near you

IF you missed it on stage, National Theatre Live are offering the chance to view Jodie Comer’s brilliant West End debut in their production Prima Facie as part of their Encore screenings.

You can catch it at Reading Rep on Thursday (7pm) and the Corn Exchange on Thursday, November 14 (7.30pm).

Comer made a name for herself as assassin Villanelle in the BBC series Killing Eve.

This is a unique opportunity to experience live from London’s West End her powerful performance and gripping storytelling from the comfort of your local theatre.

Tessa is a young, brilliant barrister. She has worked her way up from working class origins to be at the top of her game; defending; cross examining and winning.

An unexpected event forces her to confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof and morals diverge. Prima Facie takes us to the heart of where emotion and experience collide with the rules of the game.

Written by Suzzie Miller and directed by Justin Martin, this tour de force was captured live in 2022 during a sold out run at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
