Artists from Hampshire hood open weekend at Highclere's Westridge Studio
TWO-hundred-and-fifty venues are open all across Hampshire at varying times until August 30, as part of Hampshire Open Studios.
Eight regional maps are available to make life easier – plus regional trail maps for Test Valley/Andover to Highclere.
There are a wide variety of venues to see along with every type of art and craft on offer in the region, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, furniture, jewellery and many more.
Local group Made in the Hood are returning to Westridge Studio and ceramicist Teresa Munn said: “It’s lovely to be back. We held our first group exhibitions there in 2012.”
If you visited years ago, you may remember rickety stairs and draughty windows?
It has now been renovated beautifully, keeping the character of the Old Chapel but with light airy spaces, heating and a wide staircase.
They finished the building works just before lockdown last year, so it is only now that creative and wellbeing activities and exhibitions can start in earnest.
Made in the Hood will be exhibiting on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10.30am to 4.30pm, on the ground floor.
