More than 100 turn out to give instruments a go at Newbury's Hogan Music afternoon
You could hear music all around as Hogan Music recently opened their doors for an afternoon music making as the growing and innovative team at the Bartholomew Street centre held their Summer Open Afternoon which saw more than 100 people enter their doors to try-out musical instruments, take part in activities including a letter trail around the building, buy their most need musical accessories and talk to representatives from Corn Exchange Learning Centre, Ragtime Theatre School and Boogie Mites Newbury.
All successful letter trails were entered into a prize draw with two lucky winners going home with a lesson voucher and a ukulele.
There were smiles all around the centre, as children and adults alike made their first sounds on an instrument, and left armed with information on how to start learning and continuing their musical journey with one of the range of teachers that Hogan Music has to offer.
Visitor to the afternoon Pankaja said after the event: “I visited Hogan music open day event, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. We just loved our first ever visit there. We will go again for some music classes for my daughter.”
