Highclere mountain artist's exhibition will benefit cancer charities

Chris Boulton will be exhibiting his paintings again at the Westridge Studio, Highclere, as part of Open Studios West Berkshire & North Hants.

Well-known as Greenham Trust CEO, 2023 is a special year for Chris as he enters his sixth decade. To mark this, he has been working on an exciting collaborative art project with friends and family – this will comprise more than 30 images which will be seen for the first time for a weekend during Open Studios.

Each participant was given a 50x50cm canvas and some paints, then asked to create a background image which reflected on their life or view of the world. Chris has added a foreground based on his interpretation of their work. He is looking forward to sharing the finished pictures.

Also in his collection this year there will be his usual mountain scenes and also worked on a number of other projects; from Park Run on Greenham Common to the beach at Juan Les Pins in the South of France.

Net proceeds from any sale of paintings by Chris will be donated to The Pelican Cancer Foundation and My Cancer My Choices.

Chris’ exhibition will be open from 10am-4pm on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21, at Westridge Studio, Star Lane, Highclere.
