Newbury Nostalgia: Heatwave 2022 invokes memories of splashes of fun in Newbury lido

As the country swelters in temperatures 30°C Newbury Today has delved into the archives and found some cooling pictures from the outdoor pool at Northcroft.
Newbury lido is staying shut this summer before undergoing a major refurbishment ready for next year.
In the mean time we thought we'd take a look back over the last 10 years or so at some of the summer fun that has been had at the leisure facility.
The pool, which was built in 1870, has not had any significant investment since 1960 when it last had a make over.
