‘COMPLETE stars’ said Newbury Spring Festival manager Ashley Morris after duo’s lunchtime busk in town on Monday.
This genius guitar-playing pair were regular buskers in Oxford pre-pandemic, attracting huge crowds of onlookers.
Then came lockdown, and there they were on BBC Breakfast, playing ‘Gig in your Garden’ for key and frontline workers and became something of an internet sensation with songs you know in ways you probably don’t in a flamenco fusion of pop and classical music.

Ben Bruant and Will Cashel met and formed ‘duo’ in 2011 while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Ben was born in Le Havre and studied classical guitar at the National Conservatory in Paris before moving to London.
Will, born in Bath, won a scholarship to the Purcell School of Music at 14 before gaining a place at the Royal Northern College of
Together they have recorded four albums and performed their Flamenco fusion of pop and classical tracks around the world – to audiences including British and European royalty and events such as the Liverpool Philharmonic, BBC Good Food Festival, G-Live and Smoked & Uncut.
