Groundbreaking NHS research highlighted in photography exhibition on display at Newbury Library
Newbury Library is currently hosting a major photography exhibition showcasing ground-breaking NHS research taking place across the Thames Valley.
The Body Unlocked highlights some of the research supported by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), which would not be possible without the involvement of ordinary people from this area in a wide range of research studies.
There are 14 display boards set up around the library for people to browse and see the extent of the research work taking place.
Newbury Library manager Ben Stanmore said: "This is a really interesting exhibition about the research carried out by the NIHR across the country, including the Thames Valley.
"Luckily we have the space in the library to display and we would encourage people to visit and find out more about this fascinating and vital research."
Visitors to the library will see some of the displays in the foyer, as well as in the side room downstairs and more upstairs.
The exhibition runs until the new year.
Take a look at the exhibition during library opening hours – 9am to 5pm Monday and Tuesday, 9am-4pm, Wednesday to Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturday.
