Pangbourne Choral Society back in full swing at Falkland Islands Memorial Chapel

PCS’s Spring Concert will be on Saturday, March 11 at 7.30pm.

The first half will be orchestral and Simon Chalk will conduct the Southern Sinfonia in two works. The first is one of his own compositions Salted Snow, followed by Mozart’s first Divertimento in D (K136).

And Mozart’s magic is fully revealed in the second half when PCS music director Chris McDade will conduct choir and orchestra in a performance of his Requiem. All the distinguished soloists will be making debut performances with PCS. They are Sarah Helsby Hughes (soprano), Serenna Wagner (contralto), Graham Neal (tenor), and René Bloice-Sanders (baritone).
