Ready to rock the pews - Newbury YoungStars’ Sister Act Jr opens tonight
Get ready to rock the pews - Sister Act Jr opens tonight (Friday) at Arlington Arts, Snelsmore.
Sister Act hits the stage at 7.30pm, and the excitement is building.
The cast of talented young performers from YoungStars Theatre Company is ready to bring the house down with their soulful singing, comedy, and infectious energy.
This feelgood musical comedy follows the journey of disco diva Deloris Van Cartier as she transforms a convent of quirky nuns with her bold and sassy personality. With a toe-tapping score inspired by Motown, gospel, and disco, Sister Act promises to be a night of high-energy entertainment for all ages.
“We’ve worked so hard to bring this show to life, and we can't wait to share it with the community,” said Chai of Newbury YoungStars chairwoman Bex Bright.
“Every ticket sold supports our young performers and helps keep our charity running — so gather your friends and family and come and join us for a night of music and laughter.
“Don't miss your chance to experience a performance that will have you clapping your hands, tapping your feet, and singing along!”
Performance times: Friday – 7.30pm, Saturday 3.30pm & 7.30pm.
